FUN FACTS ABOUT ME (in no particular order):

 

I am inspired by the strong sense of community in our "big town" of Portland, Oregon.

 

I feel blessed that I found the field of design instead of going to medical school.

 

I cherish being a mom to 2 curious boys and being married to an arborist who keeps me laughing.

 

I am nourished by the smell of the ocean as it reminds me of growing up in Victoria, BC Canada. 

 

I welcome the stories that houses keep -- from the people living in them to the layout of each room.

 

I enjoy a good game of Blokus and have been known to become obsessed with 1000 piece puzzles.

 

I love hiking, walking and chasing after Skye, our feisty cairn terrier.  

 

I appreciate the treasured feeling of extra space that yoga gives me.

 

I am crazy for mason jar salads.

Lois has over 20 years of experience working in collaborative, interdisciplinary teams across retail, branded environments, workplaces and personal spaces. These environments have enabled her to utilize her unique pairing of degrees in interior design and architecture. With the belief that ‘everything begins with the consumer's experience’, she engages with clients to understand their culture, brand and personality. This process has proven effective for the creation of unique spaces that tell a story through meticulous design and detail. Collaborating with builders and local crafts people, the spaces Lois produces are both beautiful and functional in design.
