ADU

(aka Accessory Dwelling Units)

I’ve became a little obsessed with all the ADU building in Portland — as our city is trying to keep our urban growth boundary intact while increasing our City’s density to keep up with our exponential growth.

I was fortunate to work with Shelter Solutions and their clients to create permit plans and assist with materials selections for their ADU’s. There is so much that goes into the planning and construction of these dwelling units.

Since my husband and I will be empty nesters soon, we’re making plans to downsize into an ADU…and I’ll share more about our design soon…
